Will a busted blood vessel heal?

Ok now i know this might seem sort of funny and I'm sure it is but it is a serious question of my part. About six months ago I was having with my girlfriend and I put a rubberband around the base of my . I guess i put it on to tight cause when we were done and I went to take it off you could see where the blood had pooled underneath the surface of the skin. I know that your act like a hydraulic pump and fills with blood and since this has happened, how can i put this right?......Well lets just say that I don't appear to be the man I used to be. Will this busted blood vessel ever heal and let me regain my confidence? I know its funny ya'll but I would like a serious awnser.
