Fresno to Berkeley using amtrak?

The problem is that Berkeley is just one of many suburbs of the SF Bay Area and that station is too close to other busier Amtrak stations to justify much service there. Think of it like Fresno is to Clovis, just down the street. So when coming from Fresno to Berkeley the place to exit at is Richmond which is a major station just a few minutes away from Berkeley. At Richmond station there is direct connecting BART (rapid transit trains) every 10 minutes which will take you the few minutes down the line into Berkeley for just a couple dollars. Good Luck!
