Why are people so skeptical of tattoos?
For some people, it's an issue of shoving their beliefs onto others. As far as being old and wrinkly, it's better to have old, wrinkly, decorated skin than nothing on it at all. I do agree with you that people need to get tattoos that mean something to them and will be easily hidden in case they do get a professional job. I've seen some stuff that wasn't thought out at all. I have a friend whose boyfriend wants to get her name on him. I'm trying to tell her that he should get something else because he does not know what the future holds. My suggestion to him would be to get a symbol or picture that means something to him that also goes very deep. My rule is that if you have not loved it all your life, you are not going to want it on you all your life. I think that if you want a tattoo, you should go for it and ignore the skeptics.
