What is "free tibet?" what does it mean? free it from what?

it's a term used by people who hate and are envious of China as an excuse to cause instability to their government by using Tibetans as pawns for their dirty work. Obviously the ignorant hippies here know nothing about China or Tibet and they should start laying off their weed for once and get a clear view of whats going on.
