How to stop dog shedding?

well we have a pug and she is only 1 years old, she is a little bit smaller than most pugs are. she sheds very bad and it the hair is always everywere. we try the shed ender comb thing and stuff like that but it is just non-stop. my mother is actually using a lint brush on her and she has used about 9 sheets and the hair coming off is the same amount every time. if anyone knows of any remedies or something that really stops the shedding please let me know! I always wear black clothes so after holding her I am coated in dog hair, and we also have navy blue furniture wich makes the hair show even more. ideas please! thanks
